The foundation is involved in various projects to fight against female genital mutilation (FGM). These include sponsorship projects and education initiatives at schools in Ethiopia.

Sponsorship projects aim to support vulnerable girls and women by providing access to education, medical care, and other basic needs. These projects provide financial support and accompanying measures to enable those affected to lead a better life and protect them from the practice of FGM.
In addition, projects in schools focus on raising awareness of the harmful effects of FGM. They provide outreach and education programs for girls, boys, parents, and communities to educate about the consequences of FGM and to combat the tradition. The aim is to reduce the acceptance of the practice and promote alternatives that protect the health and well-being of girls and women.
Through these diverse projects, the Foundation continues its efforts to fight FGM and improve the lives of vulnerable girls and women
In Planning: AWARENESS PROJECT IN AUBDAL IN HARAR, ETHIOPIA
The aim of this project is to initiate cooperation between the SARA ADUSE FOUNDATION and the Aubdal School in order to improve the education of the students. SAF organizes documentary film events and readings to raise awareness about female genital mutilation (FGM) in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). These events provide a platform to raise awareness of the issue, share knowledge and promote dialogue on how to combat FGM.
